LlamaLab Enhances Record Retrieval with Supplemental Request Feature

LlamaLab has updated its retrieval dashboard to allow legal teams to request supplemental historical records directly from active matter files. This update simplifies filling documentation gaps when new treating providers are identified during litigation.

Requesting supplemental records

While automated workflows deliver initial medical records with an average 4-day turnaround, ongoing litigation frequently uncovers secondary clinics or extended treatment dates that require follow-up requests. The supplemental request feature integrates these follow-up orders directly into the master case timeline.

How the workflow operates

Submitting supplemental requests takes a few steps in the matter dashboard:

1. Open the active client matter in your dashboard.
2. Click Request Additional Records.
3. Enter the facility name, specific department, or new treatment date range.
4. Submit the request for automated routing and tracking.

LlamaLab handles facility verification, electronic fax routing, and delivery tracking. Incoming records are automatically OCR'd and appended to the existing case chronology.
